Research Methodology Lecture Series – I

The PG Department of Commerce, EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty, successfully organized the first session of its Research Methodology Lecture Series on 29 June 2026 at the Commerce Block.
The session, titled "From Data to Knowledge: The Role of Statistics in Research," was delivered by Dr. Rajasekharan K.E., Head of the Department of Statistics, EMEA College, Kondotty. The lecture provided participants with valuable insights into the role of statistical methods in research, emphasizing the importance of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and evidence-based decision-making in academic investigations.
Students actively participated in the interactive session, gaining practical knowledge on applying statistical tools to enhance the quality and reliability of research. The programme served as an excellent platform for aspiring researchers to strengthen their research methodology skills and deepen their understanding of quantitative analysis.
