Film Screening and Discussion: "Unspoken: Exploring Family Expectations, Pressures, and Mental Health" - The EMEA Film Club and the College Counseling Centre of the college, in collaboration with The Banyan, successfully organized a film screening and discussion event focused on the themes of family expectations, pressures, and mental health. The event, titled "Unspoken: Exploring Family Expectations, Pressures, and Mental Health," took place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the college's Audio Visual Theatre. The film JBaby was screened, followed by a discussion with a panel of experts, including Capt. Abdul Rasheed P, Sharon Ann Thomas, and Rahiyanath. The event aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues and explore the impact of family dynamics on individual well-being. The programme was a valuable initiative, raising awareness about mental health and promoting open conversations about family expectations and pressures. Such events contribute to destigmatizing mental health issues and fostering a more supportive and understanding community.
