Language and Communication Skills Enhancement Programme
The Literary Club, in association with the PG Department of English, EMEA College of Arts & Science, Kondotty, organized a Workshop on Creative Writing as part of the Language and Communication Skills Enhancement Programme on 6th October 2025 (Monday) at the college Seminar Hall.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Mary Zareah, celebrated author of Vodka Sambar, Gypsy’s Run on Wednesday, and Manavattyy. The workshop offered an engaging platform for students to explore their creative potential and refine their writing abilities.
Ms. Zareah shared her personal writing journey and provided valuable insights into developing original ideas, creating compelling narratives, and building authentic characters. The session also highlighted the importance of language as a creative tool and encouraged students to express their individuality through writing.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Sajeera Cholakkal (Staff Coordinator) and Ms. Shibla Nargees T (Student Coordinator). The workshop received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively participated in the interactive exercises and discussions.
