Water Potability Test

The department has been functioning as a Water Potability Test Centre for a few years. During this academic year, as part of that the following activities were done: 1. Tested potability of more than 50 drinking water samples from various sources like schools and other institutions; 2. Cooperated with Pallikkal health centre in their safe drinking water program by analyzing potability of more than 20 water samples; 3. Conducted a training to students of Kottukkara HSS on isolation of bacteria from different soil types; 4. Conducted a training on water potability testing by MPN method to students of Govt Polytechnique Manjeri.
