The Department of Economics – the oldest department of the college has become the first research Department of the college as well in 2016. Dr. Ibrahim Cholakkal has been endowed with Research Guideship in this academic year. Dr. Ummer. EK who had been working as a faculty member of the department retired towards the end of the academic year
